Jean M Gentry

Jean M. Gentry, age 94, of Youngsville, North Carolina and formerly of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in Raleigh, NC. She was born on August 31, 1926 in Ashe County, NC to the late John H. Osborne and Rettie M. Roten Osborne. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Wilmer Hayes Gentry; son, Harold Gentry; grandson, Randy Brown; three sisters, Pearl McCoy, Laura Nichols and June Potter, and three brothers, Rhonda Osborne, Conley Osborne and John (Bud) Osborne. Jean was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Ross and Linda Reaves (John) of Youngsville, NC; stepson Cecil Gentry (Arlene) ; grandchildren, Stephanie Harrison (Renny), Stacie Myers, Kellee Beach (David), Susan Colmore (Jack), Karen Stevens (Bob), Cindy Smith (Dennis), Mary Ellen Trainer (Jim) ; great-grandchildren, Hallie Harrison, Jake Harrision, Eric Harrison, Caden Beach, Cabrie Beach; sister-in-law, Pearl Osborne, and brother-in-law, Selmer Potter .
