Jay Rodriguez

Jay Rodriguez, age 66, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022. He was born December 19, 1956 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Gilbert and Shirley Rodriguez. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gilbert Rodriguez Jr. Jay was a caring person who would do anything for anyone whether it be giving his last dollar or the shirt off his back. He was a wonderful cook and known as the “Rockin’ Pit Boss”. Those left to cherish his memories include his partner, Wendi Rodriguez; daughter, Sara Rodriguez; son, Andrew Rodriguez; stepson, Spencer Graber; stepdaughter, April; sister, Tina Rodriguez-McGuire; grandson, Braxton Bennett; special friends, Jim Gobble, and Tony and Charmin Stanley. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Mountain City Funeral Home.
