Jim Beebe

Jim Beebe, age 91 of Mountain City, passed away June 15, 2026 at his home. Jim was born May 16, 1935 in Ellendale, Delaware to the late John David and Elsie Beebe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Marie; brothers, Don Beebe, John Beebe, Richard Beebe and step mother, Ann Robbins.

Jim was a devoted member of Nelson Chapel Baptist Church and cherished spending time outdoors, especially enjoying hunting and fishing. He was also a passionate fan of the Atlanta Braves baseball team.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 68 years, Carolyn Beebe; son, Daniel Beebe; sister, Ann Marie Spence; brother, Lester Beebe and wife Joyce and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Dunn Cemetery with Pastor Mike McNutt officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Carson, Ernie Simcox, Delmar Simcox and Lester Beebe.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Nelson Chapel Baptist Church (2043 Forge Rd., Mountain City, TN 37683) or Gideons International (PO Box 155, Mountain City, TN 37683).
