James “Jim” Alfred Fink, age 66, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at his home. He was born April 4, 1960 to the late Perry and Mary Lipford.
Jim was a hardworking man who was always on the go, rarely sitting still and never afraid of a challenge. Known for his lighthearted spirit and quick sense of humor, he had a remarkable ability to make the best of any situation and bring a smile to those around him. Jim had a lifelong passion for cars and motorcycles. A true “Mr. Fix-It,” there seemed to be nothing he couldn’t repair. Music was another of Jim’s great loves. As a devoted classic rock enthusiast, he enjoyed timeless songs and artists that brought him joy throughout his life. Jim will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous heart, infectious humor, and the countless ways he touched the lives of those who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 25 years, Barbara Fink; daughter, Holly Fink Bartz (J.B.); grandchildren, Gibson Bartz and Kinzie Bartz; stepchildren, Steven Keller Jr. (Erica) and his son Isaac, Shawn Keller (Kristen) and his children Emma and Asher, Tabitha Keller and her children, Michelle (Michael) and Kristina; great-grandchildren, Kaidence, Dekata, Bryce, Ruby, Makayla, Brayson; brother, Rick Wilson (Karen) of Dalles, OR; special friends, David Triplett, Gary Johnson Sr., and Keith Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor David Bentley officiating. The burial will immediately follow at Phillippi Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Keller Jr., Isaac Keller, Michael Turner, Gary Johnson Sr., and Shawn Keller.
