Hobert Nichols, Jr.

Hobert McKinley Nichols Jr., age 75, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at The Cambridge House in Bristol, TN. Hobert was born on August 17, 1944 to the late Hobert McKinely Nichols Sr. and Bertha Jane Lane Nichols in Washington County, VA. In addition to his parents, Hobert is preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Novella Nichols on June 25, 2009; sisters, Lena Ruth Sell and Doris Irene Hill; nephew, Herbert Nichols Jr..   Hobert was a graduate of Johnson County High School and retired after 45 years of employment at Broyhill Furniture Factory.   Those left to cherish his memories include his brother, Herbert Nichols and wife Dawn; nieces, Becky Hawkins, Jackie Bishop, and Nancy Stout; nephews, Michael Repp, Steve Sparrow, Bill and Jeff Sell.   A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Park with Pastor Terry Steele officiating.   Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mountaincityfh.com .   The family of Hobert McKinley Nichols Jr. has entrusted his services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
