Hilda Simcox

Hilda Ann Simcox, age 75, passed away December 6, 2023 at Mountain City Care Center. Hilda was born April 24, 1948 to the late Myrandean and Bertha Simcox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Geraldean Simcox Barr and husband, Paul.

Hilda enjoyed keeping up with everyone by talking on the phone and enjoyed having company. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories include her brother, Tony Simcox and wife Barbara; nieces, Kelly Simcox Helm and husband Daniel, Joana Morrison and husband Roger; nephew, Aaron Simcox and wife Rebecca; great nieces, Savannah and Shiloh; great nephew, Hunter Morrison; special friends, Debbie Roark, Linda Shoemake, Jane Ann McGee, Nancy Shoun, Hubert Matheson, Suzanne Cannon, Martha Matheson and several other special friends she liked to talk to on the phone.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Michael Icenhour officiating.

The family of Hilda Ann Simcox has entrusted her services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
