Henry Harris

Henry Harris, age 86, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at his home. He was born March 4, 1940 to the late Dewey and Elner. In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his daughter, Lora Guinn and husband Bobby; sister, Naydeen Richardson, Ann Church and brother, Jr. Harris.

Henry was a hard worker and spent many years at Grandfather Country Club and building furniture. He also liked spending time working with his bees and tending to his garden. He also enjoyed sawmilling.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Cathy Harris; daughter, Jennifer Clawson and husband Johnny; son, Travis Harris and special daughter-in-law, Amber; sister, Willa Jean McKenzie; grandchildren, John Henry Clawson, Marissa Harris, Miranda Harris, Caitlyn Trivette; great grandson, Noah Trivette; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Stout Hill Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Donnie Cable. The graveside service and burial will follow at Harris Guinn Cemetery located at his home on Dye Leaf Road. Pallbearers will be Travis Harris, Stevie Shoun, Blake Dugger, Bart Harris, Cody Hartley, and Jake Trivette. Honorary pallbearers are BJ Guy, Ernie Potter, Steve Potter, Jean Potter, RL Hartley, Jimmy Guy and Jodie Hartley.
