Helen Louise Dickens

Helen Louise Dickens, age 74 of Mountain City, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 at her home. She was born January 27, 1951 to the late Paul and Ruth Taylor. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her sons, Jeff Dickens and Chad Dickens, and grandson, Casey Eden.

Louise was known for being a people person; everyone who met her fell in love with her. She loved her family, church family, and friends deeply. Louise’s favorite pastime was spending it with her “little bedbug” Sadie, her great-granddaughter. She was a hard worker and sewed for many years at Levi’s and Bike Athletic.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 57 years, Ira Dickens; sons, David Dickens (Magdalena) and Ronnie Dickens (Shelly); daughter, Becky Williams; grandchildren, Brandon and Cody Dickens, Savana Eden, Weston, John, and Onna Dickens, Zachary Jacobs, Jeff, Daniel, Tiffany; several great-grandchildren; special friends, Magdalena Dickens and Morgan Vanwinkle.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Pleasant View Christian Church. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at with Pastor Gary Bowman officiating.
