Helen Lucille Farmer

Helen Lucille Farmer   Helen Lucille Farmer, age 93, of Mountain City and Trade, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Friday evening, February 8, 2019 at the Mountain City Care Center. She was born in Trade TN, Johnson County, on September 19, 1925 to the late Frank M. Main and Nancy Elizabeth Snyder Main. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hayden Farmer.   Helen was a faithful member of Evergreen Baptist Church. She had many friends and Helen loved her family and will be truly missed by all who knew her.   Those left to cherish her memories include her son, Sid Farmer and wife Cathie of Zionville, NC, one granddaughter, Myra Farmer   Graveside service and burial will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Greer- Main Cemetery in Trade, TN with Pastor’s Tony Potter and Derrick Wilson to officiate.   The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Whitlock and Daniel Jones and the staff of Mountain City Care Center for all they have done with Helen’s care.   In lieu of flowers the family respectfully ask for no food and that you may donate to the charity of your choice in Helen’s memory.                             .   Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.mountaincityfh.com.
