Ginger Lee Burleson, age 49, passed away on October 22, 2022. She was born October 31, 1972 to Wanda Roark and the late Terry Burleson. Ginger was very outgoing, loud, and funny. She had a great sense of humor and liked telling jokes. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and doing her daughter’s hair and make-up. Ginger also loved going shopping and out to eat, especially Chinese food. She was a loving daughter, mother, and sister who loved spending time with her grandbabies. Survivors include her mother, Wanda Greer; sons, Jonathan Burleson and Joseph Carson; daughter, Shanelle Carson; sister, Renea Stanbery and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Dawson, Trenton, and Alayla Burleson; nieces, Kirstin Davis and Hollie Church; nephews, Jacob Norris and Dalton Stanbery; great nieces and nephews, Jayden and Riley Davis, Grayson Stanbery, Ava, Miley, Daniel, and Jackson Church. The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Anthony Roark officiating. The graveside service and burial will follow the funeral from the Norris Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Stanbery, Joe Carson, Chris Sturgill, Jake Norris, Rusty Davis, Dalton Stanbery, and John Burleson. At other times, friends and family may visit the home of her mother.
