Geri Walters

Geri Walters, Age 82, passed away on March 25, 2025. Geri was born on October 21, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Thomas and Anna Rozzi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Walters; sons, Bill Walters Jr., Roman Walters and grandson, Matthew Thompson.

Geri was the matriarch of the family and always looked for the good in everyone. Geri loved her family very much and loved spending time with them. Through the years she invested her time into teaching kids, as this was her favorite job at various schools in Florida and Tennessee and being the best Mom.

Those left to cherish her memory include daughter, Deborah Thompson (Randy); son Roger Walters (Adreea); sisters, Ann Marie Devoe (Steve) and Diane Bonelli; brothers, Richard Rozzi, Steve Rozzi (Peggy) and Tom Rozzi; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
