George Stinson

George Sidney Stinson, age 90, passed away August 19, 2024 at Mountain City Care and Rehab Center. George was born March 16, 1934 in Indian River, FL to the late Gus Stinson and Mildred Walters Stinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Stinson and James Stinson. 

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 45 years, Geneva Stinson; daughter, Susan Richmond; son, Terry South (Christine); grandchildren, Crystal Forbes (Jason), Megan South (Jamie), Erin Voyten (Jeff); great grandchildren, Christopher (Alex), Caden, Raegan, Easton, Austin (Emily); niece, Kay and many special friends. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Zionville Baptist Church Cemetery.
