Franklin Walls

Franklin Walls, age 93, passed away on February 9, 2023. Franklin was born February 20, 1929 to the late Clifton and Rosie Walls. Franklin was a hard worker who enjoyed farming and his goats. He retired from Bartlett Tree Experts after many years of service. He adored his wife and family and was a loving father and grandfather. Franklin was loved by many and will be missed by everyone in his community. He was a devoted member of Green Cove Missionary Baptist Church. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 69 years, Mary Ellen Walls; sons, Albert Walls (Kara), Michael Walls (Laura), and Paul Walls (Cora); grandchildren, Jennifer Walls, Daniel Walls, Thomas Jones (Ashley), Valerie Ratcliff (Mitchell), Rebecca McKinney (Seth), and Robbie Wagner; great-grandchildren, Brenndan, Isabella, Raelynn, Braden, Emerson, Lily, and Natalee; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Green Cove Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Poe officiating. The graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the church cemetery.
