Frankie Goodwin

Frankie Lee Goodwin, age 79, passed away on April 2, 2023. Frankie was born February 22, 1944 in Rockingham, NC to the late James Edward Goodwin Sr. and Dorothy Wilkie Goodwin.

Frankie enjoyed woodworking, collecting knives and listening to Carolina beach music. He was a devoted caregiver to his wife for many years and dearly loved his family, especially his kids and grandkids. 

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Donna Goodwin; daughter, Jennifer Wiktorek and husband Bill; son, Mark Goodwin and wife Helen; step-daughter, Jatana Helms; step-son, Kevin Helms; brothers, James Edward Goodwin Jr., Gene Goodwin; grandchildren, Adam Wiktorek, Sara Gale and Devin, John Wiktorek and Ladeja; step-grandchildren, Mikayla Marlow, Noah Marlow, Eli Marlow; great grandchildren, Naomi Gale; several nieces, nephews, and other family members. 

Interment will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Zion United Methodist Church, 123 Zion Church Road, Rockingham, Rockingham, NC .

The family of Frankie Lee Goodwin has entrusted his care to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
