Eva Sue Wallace

Eva Sue Wallace, age 80, of Shady Valley, TN, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at her home. She was born April 12, 1942 in Creston, NC to the late Hayes and Ozell Roark Shelton. In addition to her parents Sue was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Wallace “Bob” Garland, second husband, Odell Wallace and grandson, Daniel Garland. She loved the outdoors. Always on a pretty day she was in her flower garden or mowing. Sue loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren beyond measure and will be truly missed by all. She loved the Lord God and would talk about the good things that he had done for her. She would quote scripture every chance she could. Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Kathy Parker (Rendell), Melissa Bullock (Tommy), Timothy Garland, Berna Arnold (Mark), and Michael Garland; grandchildren, Gary Robinson, Matthew Robinson, Christopher Couch, Michael L. Garland, Brooke Garland, Miranda Wilson (Cory); great-grandchildren, Justice Robinson, Arabella Couch, Mia Tester, Emerson Garland, Addyson Garland, GanynWilson, Mylah Wilson, and Emilia Garland, brothers, J.B. Shelton (Nell), Randy Shelton; sister, Chris Shelton Eastridge (Jack) and a precious aunt, Louise Henry (Charles), several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. The graveside service and burial will be on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Wallace Cemetery (Cretsinger Rd. Shady Valley TN) with J.B. Shelton officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Garland, Timothy Garland, Gary Robinson, Matt Robinson, Michael L. Garland, and Cory Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are Rendell Parker, Mark Arnold, Jerald “Doc” Duncan, and Tommy Bullock. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Shady Valley Fire Dept. The family wishes to thank the Shady Valley Fire Department First Responders and the Johnson County EMS. The family will receive friends at home 837 Owl Hollow Rd., Shady Valley, TN 37688.
