Elsie Maxine Robinson

Elsie Maxine Robinson, age 75, passed away March 6, 2024 at her home. She was born February 6, 1949 to the late James Rhymer and Mary Arnold McFarland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Robinson and infant brother, Joe Ray Rhymer.

Maxine was a very generous and soft-hearted person who never had anything bad to say about anyone. She loved and adored her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also liked to cross-stich and working with canvas. She was of the Christian faith. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Peggy Ann St. Gelais; brothers, Dean Rhymer (Elizabeth Ann), Jerry Rhymer (Linda Nye); special friend, Ed Harvey and his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; nephew, David Rhymer; several nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, Oscar.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Berrey Dunn officiating. The graveside service and burial will follow the funeral at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
