Earnest Elliott

Earnest Ray Elliott, age 74 of Butler, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Johnson County Community Hospital. Earnest was born on February 16, 1947 to the late Fred Elliott and Lona Stout Elliott-Cunningham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Verta Graybeal (Bob) and Betty Phillips. Earnest owned and operated EP Auto in Elizabethton for over 50 years. He was an avid Mopar fan, he loved people and had a heart of gold. Those left to cherish his memories include his fiancé, Constance Scott; sons, Barry Elliott-Mendelsohn (Josh), Marty Elliott; sister, Mary Sheppard; grandchildren, Kristina Elliott, Zora Elliott-Mendelsohn, Laine Elliott-Mendelsohn; several nieces and nephews. The graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Rock Springs Cemetery with Pastor Harvey White officiating.
