Earl Eggers

Frank "Earl" Eggers Sr. (87) born February 26th, 1935 in Trade, TN passed away at Sycamore Shoals Hospital in Elizabethton, TN on February 16th, 2023.
     He was preceded in death by his parents Taft and Rosa Miller Eggers, Trade, TN, his wife of 24 years Elinore Roberts Eggers, and 3 sisters Jean Lipford, Shirley Jenkins, and Wanda Brown.
      Earl worked for Phillip's Mushrooms in Kennett Square, PA for 25 years before moving back home in 1978 and working at Earps appliance in Boone until retirement.
     He is survived by his son, Frank Eggers Jr. of the home; his daughter, Rose Marie Cable, husband Gary, of Elizabethton; one granddaughter Ashley Kimbrel, husband Kraig, Elizabethton and 4 great grand kids Harlee, Caitie, Kenley, and Hunter.
     He is also survived by 2 sisters, Phyllis Parker, Trade and Sue Wilson, Elizabethton, 2 brothers Eddie Eggers, Arizona, Ted Eggers, Bristol, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
     The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Preacher Gary Cable officiating. The graveside service and burial will follow at the Reece Cemetery (Bulldog Road, Trade, TN). Pallbearers will be Kraig Kimbrel, Robbie and Jeff Brown, Carroll and Terry Parker, and Matt Stout. Honorary pallbearers are his grandson, Hunter and all of his nephews.

The family would like to thank Matt, Cristy, and Connor Stout for being there for Earl and helping out.
