Dora Keever

Dora May Keever, age 83, passed away July 13, 2026 at Cedar Hills Nursing in Clemmons, NC. Dora was born June 16, 1943 to the late Carl and Lura May. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Keever; sisters, Marie, Virginia, Hazel, Sarah and brothers, Clyde, Earl, Landon, Bruce and Howard.

Dora was a hard worker and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She loved being a Grandmother and adored her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Jeff Hartley, Tommy Hartley; sister, Beulah Brown; grandchildren, Haley Sahara, Sabrina Hartley, Netaya Potter, Anakin Hartley; great grandchildren, Lyric McGinnas, Thea Forrester, Furious, Presais, Azi and Lux Firetto, Kaylynn and Lois Potter and one on the way; several nieces and nephews.

It was Dora’s wish to be cremated and no service held.

The family of Dora May Keever has entrusted her care to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
