Donna Fletcher

Donna Jean Fletcher, age 72, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Donna was born January 16, 1954, to the late James and Kathleen Absher. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dorsey Dave Fletcher and her brother, Michael Absher.

Donna was a woman who loved her family and would do whatever she could for them. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she gave them will continue through the generations.

Donna had many interests and simple things that brought her happiness. She was an extremely talented quilter and enjoyed cooking, reading, shopping, and watching television. She worked at NECC where she retired and then went to Sam’s Club in Johnson City, where she became part of a community of coworkers and customers who knew and cared about her. The friendships she made there meant a great deal to her, and her coworkers showed kindness and support throughout the years.

Dorsey and Donna attended Sink Valley Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish Donna’s memory include her daughter, Jennifer Fletcher (Andy Lowe); granddaughter, Mikayla Fletcher (John Reed Rasnick); sister, Jimmie Ann Osborne (Jimmy) and their son, Matthew Osborne (Ashley); many extended family members and cousins; special friends, Scott Guy, Kim Bowers and her Sam’s Club family.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the Noah Fletcher Family Cemetery (Sink Valley Road, Butler, TN) with Pastor Terry Steele officiating. Pallbearers will be Andy Lowe, Brian Morefield, Brian Hopson and Will Hawkins. Honorary pallbearers are Dana Buchanan, Matthew Osborne and John Reed Rasnick.
