Donato DiMuro

Donato was born on March 29, 1946, in Newark, New Jersey, to Clemente and Margarita DiMuro. He was a carpenter by trade, specializing in custom furniture and cabinetry. Outside of work, his greatest passion was painting and designing mirrors.

Donato is survived by his wife, Carol DiMuro; his daughter, Sky Eggers; his stepdaughters, Christine, Leah, and Tara; his eight grandchildren: Shawn, Dade, Darren, Makenzie, Aiden, Asher, Owen, and Lucy; and his eight siblings: Bonita, Linda, Clemente, Saul, David, Isabella, Michelle, and Nicola. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He will be remembered for his strong faith, his craftsmanship, his artistic talent, and the time he spent with his family.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. The burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026 at the Eggers Family Cemetery.
