Donald Newman

Donald Lewis Newman, age 77, of Mountain City, TN passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at his home. Donald was born January 13, 1949 in Bristol, Virginia to the late Robert Taylor Newman and Martha Belle Hartsock Newman. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by siblings, Sammy Newman, Robert Newman, Jr., Martha Wilson, Bertha Pope, Willy Margarett Elam, and Cora Pickle.

Donald was a native of Bristol, Virginia and lived in Merrill and Medina, New York for 30 years before moving to Mountain City, Tennessee. He was a member of Dyson Grove Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Sandra Newman; daughters, Sherry Dujenski of Elizabethton, TN and Peggy Anderson and husband Kenneth of Machias, NY; grandchildren, Alisia Dujenski, Courtney Guizzotti, Garrett Dujenski, Tyler Dujenski, D’Camron Newman, Codty Newman, and Norman Miller, Jr.; brothers, Terry Newman of Bristol, TN and Jackie Newman of Abingdon, VA; and many great-grandchildren that he loved dearly.

Per Donald’s wishes no service will be held. He will be cremated and buried at Dyson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
