Delbert Clawson

Delbert Ray Clawson, age 70, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Delbert was born on May 26, 1951 to the late McKinley Clawson and Maude Dellinger Clawson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Molly Whaley, Homer Clawson, Ann Gentry, Beryl Clawson, Bill Clawson, Paul Clawson, and Jean Clawson. Delbert was a hard-working man who loved his family and always enjoyed family cookouts and dressing up as Santa for the kids at Christmas. Those left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Amy Norris and husband Dale; son, Richard Clawson and Dakota; mother of his children, Betty Clawson; sister, Betty Dugger; brother, Roscoe Clawson; grandchildren, Geneva Watson, Reece Watson, Annah Clawson; best friend, Tim McCoury; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Elk Mills Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Chuck Morefield and Toby Rainbolt officiating. There will be no graveside services held.
