David Huggins

David Huggins, age 66, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at his home. David was born November 14, 1957 to Harold Huggins and Mae Harrington.

David enjoyed being outdoors, particularly hiking and gardening. He was a talented artist who liked painting and drawing. He also liked the beach and old cars, especially Mustangs. David was a nurse and caring for others brought him a great deal of joy. He loved his grandkids above all. David was a member of Konnarock Seventh Day Adventist Church and was very active in the church.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 46 years, Brenda Huggins; daughters, Brooke Mahaffey and husband Nathan and Tosha Castle and husband Dustin; father, Harold Huggins; mother, Mae Harrington; sister, Janice Fuller; brothers, Donley Huggins and wife Joan, Jimmy Huggins and wife Emele, and Quinten Huggins and wife Toni; grandchildren, Mason Mahaffey, Keegan Mahaffey, Lincoln Mahaffey, Kingsley Castle, and Baby Castle on the way; aunts, Gay Parker, Mildred Anderson, and Edna Briggs; sister-in-law, Dianne Kingry and husband Don; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Konnarock Seventh Day Adventist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Jim Cox and Ilia Peno officiating.
