Daniel Snyder

Daniel Bruce Snyder, age 36, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.  He was born on July 9, 1982 to Robert and Nancy Adkins Snyder. He was preceded in death by an uncle, James Adkins.

Daniel was very intelligent and was an excellent chess player.  He loved to eat.  He had a deep interest for bar-b-queuing and cooking.  His favorite meals were Little Caesars Pizza, Farmers prime rib, McDonald’s chicken tenders and Red Lobster.   

Daniel was troubled and kept to himself most of the time and because of that he was very misunderstood.  He could be hard to love but he cared deeply but had difficulty expressing his feelings.  Love the lonely, the odd, and the depressed and do it now.  Tomorrow is not promised. 

Those left to cherish his memories include his parents, Robert and Nancy Snyder; sister, Elizabeth Hockett and husband Chad; brother, Mitchell Snyder and wife Tisha; nieces and nephews; Kenya, Ana Vela, Jack and Flynn Hockett; uncle, Charles Snyder; his best friend, his dog Buddy, who Daniel loved dearly and several cousins. 

The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Mountain City Funeral Home.  Memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Gale Hartley officiating.    

At other times the family will receive friends at the home, 101 Frank Shupe Lane, Butler, TN.
