Daniel P. Furches

Daniel P. Furches       Daniel P. Furches, age 66, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went to be home with the lord on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Johnson City Medical Center.  He was born on August 18, 1953, in Johnson County, TN to the late John Albert Furches and Annie May Furches. In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth Furches and Jerry Wayne Furches, and one nephew, Gary Furches.   Daniel was of the Baptist faith and loved his grandchildren very much. He liked to listen to the radio, liked celtic music and like to play the guitar and organ.     Daniel is survived by three sons, Danny Furches, John Paul Furches, and Joshua Furches; sisters, Janice Humphrey, Willia Jennings, Lucille Jennings, and Betty Potter; brothers, Dayton Furches, Jim Furches, Tim Furches, and Junior Furches; nineteen grandchildren; two great grand children and several nieces and nephews   The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with the funeral to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Furches to officiate. The Graveside Service and burial will be held on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Canter Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Troy Stout, Aaron Furches, Van Furches, Joshua B. Furches, Scott Harrison, and Caleb Baker. Honorary Pallbearers are English John, Chris Snyder, Buster Fritts, and Larry Rutter.   At other times the family will receive friends at the home of his son John Furches, 1400 Sprucey Lane, Mountain City, TN 37683.   Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.mountaincityfh.com   The family of Daniel P.
