Cindy Lewis Peele

Cindy Lewis Peele, age 53, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Cindy was born in West Jefferson, NC on December 29, 1967 to the late James Lee Lewis and Desi Mae Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dean Lewis, Chuck Lewis, Jim Lewis and sister, Melanie Wolny. Cindy was the definition of loyal and was a great caregiver. She thoroughly enjoyed helping people and was crazy over her grandkids. She enjoyed taking walks and loved all animals. She will be greatly missed by all. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Robert T. Peele of Mountain City; daughter, Jamie Clawson; son, Brian Anthony Mullis; sister, Lola Lewis Church of High Point, NC; brothers, Rob Lewis, Denver Lewis of West Jefferson; grandchildren, Serenity Cannet, Chris (CJ) Cannet, Bristol Phostine Mullis of Nashville.
