Cathleen “Kitty” Osborne Trivette, age 77, passed away on April 3, 2022. Kitty was born in Portsmouth, VA on August 18, 1944 to the late James and Hazel Osborne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Trivette; brothers, Glenn Osborne, Earnest Osborne, Jimmy Osborne and sisters, Louise Mills, Grace Osborne, and Ruth Woods. Kitty was a graduate of the JCHS class of 1962. Over the years she worked for various retailers. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family. She most of all loved the Lord and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Those left to cherish her memories include her daughter, Carol Grace Trivette; son, Larry Wayne Trivette and wife Linda; brothers, Paul Osborne and wife Louise of Longs, South Carolina; special granddaughter, Hannah Noel Trivette; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The graveside service and burial will follow at Reece Cemetery with Pastors Steven Spencer and Homer Vanover officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers are the members of Calvary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org/donate) or Gideon’s International (P.O. Box 155, Mountain City, TN 37683).
