Carrie Hampton

Carrie Bethann Blackburn Hampton, age 44, passed away July 4, 2023. Carrie was born November 11, 1978 to the late Billy Joe and Anna Blackburn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life partner, Randy Elmore, and brother-in-law, Dallas Vaughn.

Carrie was a wonderful and very protective mom and a dedicated nurse. She had lots of friends and loved her special dog, Khaleesi.

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughter, Darien Elmore; son, Warren Hampton; sister, Kelly Vaughn; brother, Eric Blackburn (Pamela); nieces and nephews, Kendra Vaughn, Ericka Dales (Tony), Brandon Blackburn, Ethan Blackburn, and Dakota Swiney; great nieces and nephews, Brayven Dales, Evan Hutchinson, and Aleirah Blevins; special friends, Alissa Hope, Rebecca Benfield, Mikey Jones, and Scott Tester.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Mountain City Funeral Home.
