Carol Hamby

Carol Marie Hamby, age 61, of Mountain City, TN, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center.  She was born on April 15, 1957 to the late William Fritz and Margaret Bennett Fritz.  In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Chelsea Buchanan. Those left to cherish her memories include her fiancé, Roger Stanley; daughters, Sara ‘Renee’ Hunt and husband jack, Tamara Marie Stanley and Tasha Stanley; sons, Mark ‘Jerry’ Buchanan and wife Kim, John ‘Fred’ Buchanan and wife Kisha and Scott Buchanan and wife Shannon; sisters, Julie Hamby and Lena Townsend; brothers, Freddie Fritz and John Fritz; twenty grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; special friends, Brenda Everhart, Shawn Marsh and Kathy Moretz and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral service will follow at 1;00 p.m. with Pastors Randy McClure and Daniel Jones officiating.  Graveside service and interment will follow at Phillippi Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shawn Marsh, Shane Reece, Daniel Fritz, Roy Bennett, Kevin Holman and Jason Hodge. At other times the family will receive friends at the home, 1806 Hwy 421 N, Mountain City, TN.
