Bobby Hoosier

Bobby Gale Hoosier, age 64 of Creston passed away on Thursday evening May 27, 2021 at Watauga Medical Center. Bobby was born on August 2, 1956 to the late Clifford Hoosier and Iva Lea Wood Hoosier in Ashe County, NC. Bobby was a loving dad and grandfather who was also an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing. Those left to cherish his memories include his daughters, Angela Roland and husband Greg, Eryin Philbeck and husband Jason; sister, Ann Trivett; brothers, Jim Hoosier, Jerry Hoosier; grandchildren, Nathaniel Hoosier, Caitlin Hoosier, Christopher Roland, Meredith Philbeck, Aaron Philbeck; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The graveside service and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 31, 2021 at the Calhoun Cemetery in Creston, NC. Pallbearers will be Christopher Roland, Nathaniel Hoosier, Greg Roland, Jason Philbeck, Morgan Pruitt, and Scott Hoosier.
