Bob Stanley

Bob Lee “Pop” Stanley, age 84, passed away unexpectedly August 9, 2025 at his home in Butler, TN. Bob was born May 10, 1941 to the late Charles and Lottie Stanley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 51 years, Lois Ann Stanley, their son, Rob Stanley, and several of his siblings.

Bob was a hard worker, working every day until his passing. He leaves a legacy of nurture and care for his family and the community to which he belonged. He co-owned B&B Excavation with his grandson, Brandon Stanley. He also faithfully attended Mountain City Baptist Church and loved his church family.

Those left to cherish his memories include: grandson and business partner, Brandon (Tara); grandchildren, Brian (Lindsay), Brianna (Justin), and Steve (Brittany); son, Christopher; and great-grandchildren, Chasity, Skyler, Alexis, Alyssa, and Little Brandon.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at noon with Pastors Tyler Fenner, Daniel Jones, and Dean Visser officiating. The graveside service will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery, where Bob will be laid to rest beside Lois Ann. Pallbearers will be Brandon, Steve, Skyler, Brian, Ronnie, Chris, and Little Ronnie.
