Billy Ray Icenhour, age 60 of Mountain City, TN passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born in Banner Elk, NC on November 27, 1961 to the late Earnest and Betty Icenhour. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Pam Icenhour and sister, Diana Icenhour. Billy Ray loved to fish and play poker. He had a great sense of humor and liked to joke. Billy Ray dearly loved his wife Pam and missed her so much. He was of the Baptist faith. Those left to cherish his memories include his sisters, Belinda Icenhour Johnson and Gene Heaton, Hazel Icenhour South and husband James, Daris Icenhour Gibson and husband Bill; special nephew Bobby Johnson and husband Jhon; nephews, Timothy Icenhour Jr., Chad Icenhour, Charles Johnson, Zek Watson, Mason Wilcox, Gavin Wilcox, Jonathan Thomason, and Josh Thomason; nieces, Susan Johnson, Liza Clark, Ashley Nelson, and Alicia Nelson; several cousins and too many good friends to mention. The graveside service and burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Phillippi Cemetery with Pastor Teddy Lewis to officiate.
