Billy Michael

Billy Dean Michael, age 80, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024. He was born in Johnson County, TN on November 10, 1943 to the late Robert and Georgie Michael. In addition to his parents Billy was preceded in death by his nephew, Michael Reece.

Billy enjoyed the outdoors, particularly hunting. He also liked to garden. Billy dearly loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Shirley Michael; daughter, Lorna Trivette; son, Dean Michael; stepdaughter, Lisa Atwood; stepson, Dennis Fain (Gladys); sisters, Lena Sutherland (Joe), Sue Adkins (Roy), and Jane Wilson (Bill); brother, Bob Michael (Eleene); grandchildren, Nichole Trivette and Madison Adams; step-grandchildren, Geena Atwood, Joe Atwood, Jesse Atwood, Natalie Lique (Curt), and Marc Fain (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Corbin and Raya Atwood; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home.
