Billy Edward Dugger, age 64 of 216 Pandora Ln, Butler, TN passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Billy was born on May 27, 1957 in Johnson City, TN to the Annie Bennett Dugger and the late William Edward Dugger. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother, David Dugger. Billy loved to hunt, fish and being outdoors. Most of all he loved being with his grandkids. He was of the Baptist faith. Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 35 years Ellen Dugger; daughter, Brooke Perry(Jason); sons, Danny Dugger(Samantha), Billy Hartness, Brian Henderson(Julie); sister, Linda Winebarger; brothers, Ricky Dugger(Norma), Barney Dugger and fiancé Christie; grandchildren, Justin Dugger, Katlynn Dugger, Marissa Perry, Jaren Perry, Kala Perry, Lyric Perry, Nola Perry, Brianna Henderson, Leighanna Henderson, Ethan Henderson, Preston Henderson; two great granddaughters; special sister-in -law and brother-in-law, Lois and Pete Winters; brother-in-law, Robert Chappell; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Greg Poe officiating. The graveside service and burial will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Donnelly Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Perry, Ricky Dugger, Barney Dugger, Jaren Perry, Justin Dugger, D.J. Winebarger, and Brandon Scott. Honorary Pallbearers are Ethan Henderson, Billy Hartness, Rick Farmer, Pete Winters, Carroll Chappell, and Robert Chappell. Special thanks to Billy’s granddaughter Marissa Perry for helping during her Papaw’s sickness.
