Bill Williams

William Arthur “Bill” Wallace, age 70, passed away August 25, 2026 at his home in Shady Valley. Bill was born July 30, 1956 to the late Alex and Helen Wallace. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Katie Cornett and brothers, Jack, Odell and Ted Wallace.

Bill was a true country man, who lived life in his own simple way. He was a good hearted and friendly person. Bill enjoyed spending time fishing and working in his garden and appreciated the small things. Lovingly described by those who knew his best as “a mess,” Bill had a personality all his own and more than anything did things his way.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Patty Barry; son, Billy Wallace; sisters, Judy Watson, Betty Watson, Shirley Mains; brothers, Jim Wallace, Dan Wallace (Mary Alice); grandchildren, Joe Barry, Lindsay Barry, Michael Barry, Jennifer Barry, Jonah Wallace; great granddaughter, Jocelyn Richmond; several nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog, Spot.

It was Bill’s wish that no service be held.
