Bill Stewart Coffey

Bill Stewart Coffey, age 54, of Creston, North Carolina, passed away on October 17, 2025.

Bill was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and a man of deep faith. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy Coffey; his daughter, Kristen Trivette and her husband Joey; his son, Adam Coffey and girlfriend Abbie Royal; and his cherished grandsons, Kayson, Hudson, and Weston Trivette. He is also survived by his brothers, Jerry and Arlie Coffey, and his sister, Bertha Coffey.

Bill was a faithful member of Mountain View Independent Methodist Church, where he found great joy in worship and fellowship. He loved his family and Jesus with all of his heart, and that love was evident in the way he lived each day with kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion.

His gentle spirit, warm smile, and strong faith touched everyone who knew him. Bill's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Sylvia Coffey, grandparents Charles and Grace Miller, grandparents Arlie and Belle Coffey, and niece Ashley Miller.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Mountain View Independent Methodist Church with Pastor James Henson to officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Coffey, Joey Trivette, James Miller, Lucas Stephens, Doyle Stephens, Dale Miller, Morgan Lewis, and Tony Glenn.

At other times, friends may visit at 166 Green Valley Road, Creston, NC 28615.
