Betty Sue Trivette

Betty Sue Trivette, age 85, passed away peacefully September 5, 2024 at her home in Mountain City, TN. Betty was born February 11, 1939 in the Laurel Bloomery Community to the late Garnett and Ruby Gentry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Trivette and brothers, Wade Gentry, Billy Jay Gentry and sister, Barb Lipford.

Betty was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for family and friends. She also liked sewing and singing, especially at church.

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, LaDonna Trivette, Pam Arnold and husband Freddie, Jenny Young and husband Robert; grandchildren, Jason Arnold and wife Holly, Justin Arnold and wife Sarah, Cody Young, Tiffany Young and William Phipps, Alex Young; great grandchildren, Kinslee Arnold, Hayden Arnold, Amberley Phipps; sisters, Lois Roark and husband Grady, Kathy Thomas and husband Ken, Diana Gentry and Glen Stewart.

The graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Trivette Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jason Arnold, Justin Arnold, Cody Young, and Alex Young.
