Betty Huddleston

Betty Huddleston, age 80 of Butler, TN passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born May 15, 1943 to the late Wilburn and Goldie Estep. In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Woody Huddleston; brother, Jay Estep; and sister, Lillian Lowe.

 

 Betty was a faithful servant of the Lord and member of Little Doe Baptist Church who adored her church family. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything; they could do no wrong in her eyes. Betty knew life is short and was a believer in enjoying dessert first and her meal second. She had many friends in her community and will be dearly missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing her.

 

Those left to cherish her memories include her son, Danny Huddleston and wife, Evelyn; daughter, Jill Voorting; grandchildren, Tiffany Chancellor (Darian), Rachel Conde, Jeffrey Lipford (Makayla), Bradley Lipford (Liz), and Stephen Matthews (Mia); great-grandchildren, Lucian Chancellor, Sophia Chancellor, Gwendolyn Chancellor, Aurora Burnham, Nolan Richardson Davis, Chloe Lackey, Tyler Lackey, Cameron Lackey; brother, Hillie Estep; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Sue Stout and her beloved church family.

 

The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Little Doe Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Kreg Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Ted Conde, Lucian Chancellor, Darian Chancellor, Jeffrey Lipford, Bradley Lipford, and Stephen Lipford.

 

At other times the family will receive friends at the home 1871 Pine Orchard Rd, Butler, TN, 37640.
