Mrs. Betty Jo Brown Banner, 75, of Moravian Falls, formerly of Butler Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Wilkesboro Health and Rehabilitation. Betty was born on July 11, 1946 in Ripley County, Missouri to Lester Theodor Brown and Clara Bell Catlett Brown. Betty enjoyed gardening, crafting, canning and poetry. She also enjoyed music, her favorite artist was Elvis. Betty is preceded in death her parents; husband, Arthur M. Banner; son, Arthur Banner III; 2 sisters and granddaughter, Angela Davis. Betty is survived by her children, Carolyn Moore and husband, Neal of Moravian Falls, Alice Isaacs and husband, Shane, Billie Stout and boyfriend, Jason Johnson, Judy Davis all of Mt. City, Tennessee, Dawn Howard and husband, Mike of St. Louis; sons, Banian Banner and girlfriend, Brandy Triplett of Mulberry, Art Banner and wife, Karen of North Dakota; sister, Marlene Walker of Missouri, 14 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. The family will conduct a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Rainbow Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Wake Forest Hospice, 126 Executive Dr #110, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
