Bessie Lee Jenkins, age 81, of Mountain City, TN passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at Mountain City Care Center. Bessie was born on June 5, 1938, being one of triplets born in Johnson County to the late Thomas F. and Deldia Dora Rupard Eastridge of Laurel Bloomery, TN. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Jenkins; son, Robert Stanley; sisters, Martha Mae Riddle, Beatrice “Bea” Jones; triplet brothers, Ted and John Eastridge.   Bessie loved her boys and was so proud of them. Bessie had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening and working in her beautiful flower gardens. She enjoyed sharing her vegetables and flowers with friends and neighbors. Bessie worked for over 20 years at the Johnson County Hospital in the food service department.   Those left to cherish her memories include three sons, Jerry Stanley (Perriann), Steve Stanley (Kim), Tony Stanley (Charmin); grandchildren, Leslie Forrester (Shawn), Tanieka Halberg (Ari), Ashley James (Eric), Katie Stanley, Kayla Stanley, Jessica Jupin (Chris), Patricia Faye Baker (Derek), Justin Stanley; great grandchildren, Katie and Sophia Tidwell, Jacob and Lee Ann Halberg, Hannah Sharp, Peyton James, Skyler Jupin, Zyra, Zoe, and Zola Baker and several nephews.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Mountain City Funeral Home with a service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Minister Buddy Morefield officiating. Special music will be provided by Bessie’s nephew, Mike Eastridge. A graveside service and entombment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Dean Tester, Justin Stanley, Derek Baker, Shawn Forrester, Ari Halberg and Eric James.   The family will receive friends at Bessie’s home, 169 Hillcrest Drive, Mountain City, TN 37683.   For those who wish, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson County Cancer Society c/o Flo Bellamy, 3510 Hwy 421 N, Mountain City, TN 37683.   The family would like to thank Dr. John Whitlock and the staff of Mountain City Care Center for the care Bessie received and Wendy Henley at Sunset Gardens Assisted Living Facility for her care during her stay there.   Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.mountaincityfh.com.   The family of Bessie Lee Jenkins has entrusted her services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
