Barbara Shupe

Barbara Shupe, age 91, of Butler, TN, passed away June 9, 2026 at her home. Barbara was born June 3, 1935 to the late Frank and Alice Shupe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her sisters, Emaline Shupe Nichols, Janet Shupe Rupard and brothers, Jim Shupe, Marshall Shupe, Frankie Shupe, Glen Shupe and Mitchell Shupe.

Barb was a simple, quiet, gentle lady who was like a mother to everyone in her family. Despite her illness and pain she always kept a smile on her face. She was a member of Little Doe Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories include her brother, Benny Shupe and wife Mary; several special nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews, cousins and friends.

A private graveside service will be held at Phillippi Cemetery.

The family of Barbara Shupe has entrusted her services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
