Annie Miller

Annie Miller, age 101, of Mountain City, TN, passed away on Monday morning, September 28, 2026 at her home.

She was born on February 17, 1925 to the late David Stanford Miller and Viola White Miller. In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her sister, Nannie Bell Smith and brothers, Earl Glenn Miller, Fred Willet Miller, Clarence Grant Miller and Norman Geto Miller.

She was a member of First Christian Church.

Annie is survived by her nieces and nephew, Elmer Ray Adams, Brenda Gambill Kirby (Dean), Mary Jane Johnson, Peggy Rowman (Kenneth), Debbie Scott (Kevin), Anita Ford (Larry), Linda Caldwell, Margaret Sutherland (Larry) and Starla Brooks; several great nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Louise Miller.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 4, 2026 at First Christian Church Life Center (315 West Main St., Mountain City, TN). The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Minister Dwayne Dickson officiating. The graveside Service & burial will follow from the Phillippi Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Elmer Adams, Rick Rowman, John Wayne Jeffries, Ken Rowman, Sam Adams and Donald Greer. Honorary pallbearer is Dean Kirby.
