Ann Taylor

Ann Taylor, 86 of Mountain City, passed away April 7, 2024. She was born February 23, 1938 in Damascus, VA to the late Roy and Bonnie Gentry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Taylor, sister, Ruth and brothers, Allen Arnold and Murphy Arnold. 

Ann was very caring and compassionate and enjoyed helping people. She also loved her pets and antiques. She was a member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories include her sons, Mark Taylor and wife Karen, Mike Taylor; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Norris, Jean Eldreth, Shirley Campbell; brother, Charlie Arnold; brother-in-law, Wayne Taylor; grandchildren, Bridgette Hedgecock, Sonya Taylor, Leah Charland, Matthew Taylor, Becky Taylor; several great grandchildren; special friends, Jewel Dunn, Shelby Stout; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private service will be held at a later date.

The family respectfully asks in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ann’s memory can be made to the Johnson County Senior Center, 128 College St., Mountain City, TN 37683.
