Angela Sue Frye Surber

Angela Sue Frye Surber, age 44, of Mountain City, passed away on Sunday morning December 2, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center.  She was born on November 24, 1974 to Deena Hayter Nichols and the late Gary Frye.  In addition to her father, Angela was preceded in death by one grandchild, Alexander Hayton.

Angela was a United States Army Veteran, where she was an LPN.  Angela loved working in healthcare and being an LPN.  She had a kind heart and was always helping others.  She had a special love for animals, especially her Pomeranian dogs.  She had several hobbies and also enjoyed watching movies with her family.  Her pride and joy was her grandchildren, who she loved with all her being. 

She was of the Baptist Faith. 

Those left to cherish her memories include her mother and step-father, Deena and Larry Nichols; sons; Donavon Hayton and Anthony Hayton; grandchildren; Olivia Hayton, Serenity Hayton and Marley Moore; special friends, Denise, Judy Ann and Amber and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Mountain City Funeral Home.  Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Shannon Courtner officiating.  Graveside service and interment will follow in the Dunn Memorial Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Kenneth Lipford, Jeff Banks, Michael Nichols, Martin Potter, Justin Arnold and Delmer Pope.  Honorary pallbearers are Boyd Woodard, Wade Saylor, Clifton Wyatt and Truman Frye. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain City Funeral Home to assist with final expenses. 

At other times the family will receive friends at the home of her mother, 5074 Forge Creek Road, Mountain City, TN.
