Abe Leroy Thompson Abe Leroy Thompson, age 84, of Butler, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at his residence. He was born on August 23, 1936 to the late Fred and Ionia Thompson in Mikado, Michigan. As well as his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Zelpha Thompson, and brothers, Lowell Thompson, Eddie Thompson, and Irwin (Hank) Thompson. Abe was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from General Motors. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 58 years, Lila Thompson; daughter, Lois Thompson; son, Chris Thompson; grandchildren, Sean Woolever and Arron Woolever; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Woolever, Noah Woolever, and Sumayyah Woolever. Military service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
