Robert James Neal

Robert James Neal Robert James Neal, age 71, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Mountain City Care Center. He was born on August 9, 1938, a son of the late Clarence and Mary Harmon Neal. He was a member of the Mountain City Church of Christ. James was a wonderful son, brother, father and grandfather and will be truly missed by all those that loved him. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Mae Heath Neal, sisters; Virgie Neal, Goldie Hall and Shirley Jennings and a niece, Stella (Teddy) Phillips. James is survived by his daughters, Deborah Ann Smith and husband, Kenneth of Kingsport; Brenda Kay Potter and husband Mark of Mountain City, TN and Frederis Henry and husband Michael of Pennsylvania; sisters, Georgia Cox and husband Ed of Delaware and Brenda Sue Wallace and husband Ted of Shady Valley, TN; brother, Clarence Junior Neal and wife Margie of Smyrna, TN; seven grandchildren, Cory James Linkous, Amanda Grace Linkous, Kevin Mark Potter, Orion Moses, Buddy Smith, Candice Smith and Susan Nelson, great-grandchildren, Kayle Smith, Elijah Nelson and Timothy Nelson and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. from Mountain City Funeral Home with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Tommy Johnson, Minister officiating.
