Betty Ruth Dixon

Betty Dixon Betty Dixon, age 70, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital of Elizabethton, Tennessee. She was born on February 3, 1940 to the late George and Mae Hodge Fritz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Dixon; one sister, Mary Hodge; four brothers: William Fritz, Robert Lee Fritz, James Fritz and Stacy Paul Fritz; one sister-in-law, Betty Hammons and mother-in-law, Nealia Dixon. Betty had attended Roan Creek Baptist Church. Betty is survived by two daughters: Deborah Stansberry and husband Mike and Tommie Dixon and fiancé Kenneth Johnson, all of Mountain City, Tennessee; one son, Eddie Dixon of Elizabethton, Tennessee; one sister, Bulis Adamson of Charlotte, North Carolina; special brother-in-law, Carl Dixon of Johnson City, Tennessee; three grandchildren: Michael Stansberry II, Heather Stansberry and Sean Dixon; two great grandchildren: Micah Berry and Michael BoBo' Stansberry III; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Private Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 from the Sunset Memorial Park with Mr. Steve Cornett to officiate. Pallbearers are: Kenneth Johnson, Cory Johnson, Jerold Roark and Jerome Snyder, Mark Reece. Honorary Pallbearers are: Mike Stansberry and Michael Stansberry II, Michael "BoBo" Stansberry III and Micah Berry At other times, friends may visit at the residence at 651 Stout Road, Mountain City, TN 37683.
