Ida Forrester

Ida Isabell Pass Forrester, age 89, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Johnson County Community Hospital. She was born on July 7, 1923 to the late James and Bina Moody Ward. In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Pass and Fred Wallace Forrester; a son, James Jim' Pass and two brothers: Joe Ward and Lloyd Ward. Ida worked for over 25 years for the Johnson County School System. She enjoyed being outdoors and loved to work in her vegetable and flower gardens. Ida was the oldest member of Dyson Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Mildred Pearson Pass; two sons and daughters-in-law: Danny and Judy Pass and Tom and Evone Pass; daughter-in-law, Brenda Pass, all of Butler, TN; grandchildren: Danny Pass Jr., Alan Pearson, Patty Pass, Miranda Lowe, Jason Pass, Matt Pass, Jamie Pass, Jeff Pass and Jonathan Pass; great grandchildren: Faith Lowe, Amber Lowe, Katlin Pearson, Alec Pearson, Allie Pearson and Ashlyn Pass; niece, Evelyn Ainsworth and Ida's church family at Dyson Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Dyson Grove Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastors Leonard Fletcher, Greg Thompson, Dean Fletcher and Chuck Stout officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 from the Dyson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Ida's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Tom and Evone Pass, 4005 Little Dry Run Road, Butler, TN 37640.
