Joseph 'Joey' Church

Joseph Franklin ‘Joey’ Church, age 29, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 19, 2018.  He was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania on February 3, 1989 to Debbie Harper Lipford and the late Timothy John Church.  In addition to his father, Joey was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Garland, his grandparents, Farley Harper and Frank Church and nephew, Lincoln Church. Joey was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved to ride dirt bikes, four wheelers, fish and enjoyed listening to music.  His pride and joy was his children whom he loved dearly. Those left to cherish his memories include his mom and dad, Debbie and Warren Lipford, children, Joseph Franklin Church II, Makayla Marie Church, Emma Hope Church and Braxton Church, sister, Angie Church and fiancé Brooke, brothers, Timmy Church and fiancé Hollie, Michael Garland and Kenneth Lipford and wife Chloe, grandparents, Mary Harper and Peggy Church, girlfriend, April Wilcox, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Mountain City Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Blaine Lipford officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mountain City Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
